September Recap

September has been a busy month for us with something going every day. We started the month with this cutie's Birthday. Justin's sister turned 15 and we had a fun Birthday party. She made a cute shirt that said " It's my birthday!" Love it.

The lovely ladies.

Hehe this one makes me laugh. =)

The next party was for Justin's Mom's Birthday. It was fun with lots of good food.

We are so glad to have them as part of our family.

We enjoyed our Anniversary weekend, then the Circus, ( more on that later.) and have just been getting ready for the up coming weddings. I am now an expert chopper of onions, peppers, and tomatoes with all the salsa we are making for the wedding.

Work has been going good, my difficult patient has actually been really good. Justin is trying to get his workers to actually work and thinking of getting an Ipad 2 for a prize for his workers.

It's been a good fun filled month, but I am looking forward to a slower October. How was your September?

Guess where we are going tomorrow?!

The Circus!

The Circus is coming to the Energy Solutions Arena and I really wanted to go. I've never been able to go and kind of always wanted to. So there ya go! My sister and I joke that we aren't our actual age we split it up to make up for our little kid wants and actions. So I'd have to say that this is the 4 year old in me since I am 2 and 4 instead of 24. =)

I am really excited and I think that it will be a cool show. I am hoping anyways. If not I'll probably just be thinking of Dumbo, or shows where there are weird circus or carnival people and that will be fun. =)

Happy Weekend all!

Anniversary Weekend

This past weekend we celebrated our 1 year anniversary. We had a great weekend just being together and having fun. We started the weekend with a trip down to the Oquirrah Mountain Temple. Justin got out of work early and we headed out for the afternoon. It was really cool to be there because if you looked out to the valley to the left you'd see the Jordan River Temple and then further to the mountains and to the right you could see the Draper Temple.

It was a cute little temple and there were less then 20 people in the session. I like the smaller temples better, they are quieter and I can just feel more reverent. We love going to the temple!
Then we went to dinner at Tucanos! It was delicious like always and we were so full that we didn't want to eat anything else the rest of the weekend. =)

On Saturday, we had a fun day at Boondocks, courtesy of my work. They luckily were having an employee party in which we got an all day unlimited pass to all the fun at Boondocks like: Go karts, mini-golf, bowling, arcade games and so much more.

Justin showing off his bowling skills
Me attempting to bowl.

Justin won! He won all the games of bowling we played.

Justin played an arcade game and got the jackpot on his first try! He got over 400 tickets from it. It blow up this balloon and then popped it. Out came the tickets. It was pretty cool.

Throughout the day in honor of the BYU-Utah game we were having a little competition to see who would win the game. Justin dominated at bowling and then we played Mini-golf.

I got a hole in one!

They had a really fun course where every other hole there were funny things to do. Some were to use your hands on the first shot, trade places with another ball, or add or subtract scores. It was a fun twist.

Winner!

After some more arcade games and Justin trying a few times to get an ipad 2 we decided to cash in our tickets all 550 of them. These are our spoils, a BYU and Utah ring =), a fancy pen and the whoopie cushins. Just like the Byu-Utah game Justin dominated and ended up winning. =)

We finished out the weekend by watching Superhero movies to get ready for the Avenger movie coming out. We both love to watch Superhero movies so it was lots of fun. It was a great weekend and we had a lot of fun just being together and celebrating marriage.

We want to give a shout-out and apologize for missing out on all the other fun activities on that day. We wish we could have been there.

One Year Down!

One year ago today my whole life changed for the better.

We've both grown a lot over the year. We've learned to forgive and forget, to love and to laugh. We've increased our patience and given more service to each other. We've learned and continually try to best fill each other's love tank.

I know that we both have become better people and for that I am grateful.

It's been a great year and I look forward to what the future holds for us.

One year down, eternity to go! Or as my little Primary class kid said, "It's like being with your family for infinity." Yeah something like that. =)

What are YOU watching?

One of the best things about starting school and fall coming is the return of new episodes of your favorite shows and also the new ones coming out. When I was in school I would have a show to watch almost every night. Now that might have been a lot of T.V. but in a way it really helped me. It made me excited for the day, got me to study and get my homework done sooner. It just made me happy.

Since getting married things have changed. At first my dutiful husband would sit and watch my shows with me. Slowly he started to go and play games, slowly I stopped watching a good portion of "my shows." It was ok because I was getting kind of bored with some of them. But I am totally Jazzed about the new shows this season and new episodes.

New Girl: Zoey Deschanel, how can you not love her? I want her hair, or her wardrobe or both. =) She gets dumped and then moves in with a bunch of guys and they help her get over it. Her character is really dorky and funny. I hope that it will be cute cause I think Zoey is just adorable. Catch it out on Fox on Tuesday's Sept 20th after Glee, which I think is 8:00. Funny side note, her sister plays Bones on Bones. =)

Another show I am jazzed about is on ABC called:Once Upon a Time. It's all about fairy tale fantasy. The child of Snow White and Prince Charming had to be sent to "earth" to prevent a curse from happening but then when she's older she starts to meet the characters from the fairy tale who don't remember who they are and then they fight for good to conquer evil. I like anything fairy taleish so I hope that this will be cool. Also.....the writers are the writers of Lost and those of you who have seen Lost know that they are good. It's on ABC on Sunday nights Starting October 23 at 7:00

ABC has a TON of new shows like a remake of Charlie's Angels, a throw back to the 60's with Pan Am and lots of other new comedies. But who could forget the best one, Modern Family. I am excited for this one because it's one that both Justin and I love to watch. I love Phil, and Luke, and Gloria. But mostly Phil.

Then there are the return of many favorite's like Biggest Loser, The Office, Bones, and your favorite reality t.v. show. So much fun to be had this fall, what are YOU watching?
